Hello! My name is Caitlin, (and to the left is me with Iris, the company mascot and namesake) and I am the photographer here at Iris & Co Photography.
I started getting into photography through 4H, I did the project all 10 years and my passion has only grown! I took photography courses in high school, but outside of that, I am self-taught. I pride myself on always working to better my art, and I hope that you all can be a part of my photography journey!
Outside of photography, I love being around my animals! I showed beef cattle & goats during my 10 years in 4H, and more recently, my family and I have raised our own beef cattle, goats, and pigs. I also have a horse and a donkey, 3 dogs and 4 cats. I also am an avid music fan and have gone to around 50 concerts so far in my life.
I also have a BS in Geology from IUPUI and have experience working with fossils at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis as well as field work in Montana. I am always down to talk dinosaurs!
I have many hobbies and passions, and photography is one that I hope to pursue full time professionally. I am always taking inquiries, so make sure to check out the contact page above to book a session! I hope to do many more animal related sessions, but I am down for most anything, and always willing to try new things and venture out of my comfort zone.
