I have photographed a lot of things and people over the last several years I have been doing photography, both as a hobby and professionally.

I wanted to take a minute and share some of my favorites over the years, with a little background and why they made my favorites list.


Forewarning - some of these pictures were taken before I really knew what I was doing, so the quality may not be the greatest on some, but I still love all of these nonetheless!

Harambe

Yeah, you heard that right. This is one of my all time favorite photos simply for the story. Years ago, my family took a trip to Cincinnati. Of course, we went to the zoo because one must stop at a zoo on any trip!

I took my mom's camera at the time and got some really fun snaps of some of the animals. Of course, only a few years later, Harambe would become globally famous.

Lions

Following up with zoo animals, this was taken at the Indianapolis Zoo! My home zoo, and one of my favorites. This picture is too majestic to not include in the list!

Little Brother

I caught these images at a cattle show of my little brother, Dalton, and his show steer. Dalton had a rough relationship with showing cattle for a while, so these precious moments were important to capture. Also, they're just really adorable pictures!

Iris

You know this list would be incomplete without the namesake of the business. Iris was only a year or 2 old here, and full of puppy energy. I love this picture so much, you can really see the shine in her beautiful brown eyes!

Padme

This is my sweet girl, Padme, before she was shown in 2023! I have always been in love with this picture, I think it just looks so regal.

These certainly are not all of my favorite pictures, but I'll save more for future posts!
